No, it’s true… I’m a big goofball. That is… me and Joe, here.
I live in Central California, in a city whose claim to fame is that it grows a lot of lettuce… and it grows authors, too. Well, one author in particular… John Steinbeck… and Salinas is said to grow 80% of the world’s lettuce. (Betcha didn’t think you’d learn anything on an “About page”, eh?)

Ha! … and I am jealous! I love Aix! How I loved sipping Pastis while gazing at the fountains there. Sigh…. We didn’t get much of the Mistral wind…. but it was HOT (there was a heat wave in 2010)! But you had a good time?
