Happy Easter, Squiddies!!! However you choose to celebrate, I wish the blessings of the day upon you!

I love seeing how other countries observe common holidays. In France, on April Fool’s Day, kids color paper fish and try to tape them to unsuspecting adults’ backs. The fish have to do with a prank (fitting for the day) that you try to pull on tourists and non-locals… to buy fish that is out of season. The tradition winds up in chocolate… and is carried on as a seasonal thing (thus chocolate fish at Easter).

The bells are fun… they are often hollow, like a bowl with a lid, and have the choco fish n’ eggs inside. And true to French fashion, they are high quality chocolate.
