To be fair, family gatherings can turn nasty if you’re not careful. On the Christmas before last there was nearly a stabbing at one of ours. And by ‘nearly’, I mean ‘she missed’. Seriously.
I pity Grace, and wonder if there’s something in her past that caused this poisonous attitude. Avoiding the obligation of family is also missing the joys of helping family. And if it’s done too long, you will also lose when you’re forgotten and HAVE no family.
What a nice interaction. Grace and Randie Chatting. Grace is opening up and sharing about herself, even smiling in the process. Can a friendship be far behind? I mean, Randie is still around, Grace is still around, everyone else is pretty much gone or on their way out. Still, would hate to see Twinks go. Cypress City is his home turf.
