I had to break a local bar and grill of the habit of pouring me a pint of my favorite brew whenever I showed up. On some nights, I just wanted to place a to go order on my way to work! Now, they don’t even carry my favorite brew. Too sad. :^(
“…where every-bah-dy knows yer na-ame…” Well, Joe… maybe a suggestion would help… something like “I’d order twice as much if you carried… blabbidie blah.” Maybe that’d be a not-so-good idea… come to think of it.

Hasn’t worked so far. Instead, I’ve come up with a number of gross concoctions from alcohols that should never be mixed together, but often work out better than expected.
…and then there’s the one I call the “Dirty Ashtray”!

There are a lot of really nasty mixed drinks out there. a really good one though, is called a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.( frangelico and blackberry schnapps).

When I was researching places that he might’ve gone to, I found a pub called the Rose & Crown betwixt Green Park and Hyde Park… I used that as my model.
