So very true. Bethlynne and I daydream about retiring to a Caribbean Island and owning a small bungalow, we… oh no! the grandkids! Where do THEY stay?

“Quite Mega Spacious” is usually a description on apartment listings. Ours had that….it was not Quite Mega Spacious. That’s why we moved into a house.
Pete… I watch a lot of House Hunters International… and it is amazing how many Americans want an extra bedroom for when people come to visit. We usually laugh and say “that’s what hotels are for!” However, if you live on a remote island somewhere… hotels might not be an option. Grass hut?

Doesn’t BB remember that Randie is in a tiny little studio? If someone wanted to come visit me in my studio, family or not, I’d be sure to remind them that they can come, but I’m not giving up my bed! 🙂
We live in a three bedroom house – two-and-a-half have cats in them. Overnight guests can stay in the motel down the block.
We lived in Hawaii for a year and had… two friends visit. One didn’t stay with us; he was just travelling to Hawaii and swung by for a visit. The other came because she was my wife’s best friend and I paid for her ticket as a present to my wife.
We’d HOPE our kids and grandkids (whenever we finally have any) would visit, but… who knows?
chase… B.B. has never seen Randie’s newer apartment… she only moved into it last year. And one’s own bed is one’s bestest sleep.

Pete… Wow… hardly any visits… your friends and family woulda had a free place to stay… and need only to pay airfare. A lost opportunity, I feel.
Brig: Ohhh! Okay! I didn’t realize Randie had moved into a new apartment; last I remembered she was kindasorta renting a place/keeping an eye on it for a band buddy? (I actually lost this comic for JUST about a year and I never actually went back and read the year’s worth of comics I missed in that time! How foolish of me! I was too lazy to try to remember where I left off…)
