It’s a holiday weekend, Ya’ll… (like you didn’t know)… and it’s also a First Friday here in Oldtown Salinas. That means The Cartoonery will be open and buzzing with folks. Mouse has found her “playful” side and is also warming up to OC (other cat) Sassy (or rather, Sassy is warming up to Mouse!). OC Stoney still won’t come in the house… well, just to nibble at the food dish… and then… SCRAM!

Ain’t nothing charming about the 104 degree forecast for Sacramento this 4th. The rivers are running high and fast, too fast for some raft rental places, the lakes are near capacity and, well, there are the usual firework stands just about everywhere.
Congrats on adding another squid carrier. More papers can’t be far away.
Ha, Mystery Men is such a funny movie, slows down at the end, but still well worth seeing.

Stick… Sigh. Now I’ve got these in my head. The duck is annoying… but the song is very catchy. The rainbow flying cat… despite it’s repetitiveness… is cute and annoying at the same time… is possible? shah! Thanks, Stick … I blame you… but nothing matches dancing Hampsters! Dee dee dah dee dee dee dee…

If it makes you feel better, someone did an extended version of the flying rainbow pop tart cat that is something like 3 and 3/4 hours long. Just imagine, you could have it run through an entire FF uninterrupted with still time to spare.
As for the The Duck Song. I found it undeniably endearing if not truly enjoyable. Plus, there are parts two and three that just add to the fun as they continue the storyline.
